I tutor students from middle school through college, including both traditional math courses and select college-level and engineering-related coursework.
I offer tutoring in the following subjects:
Tutoring is available in person at local public libraries and online.
In-person: Oviedo and Casselberry libraries (see booking page for current days/times).
Online: A meeting link will be provided after booking.
Tutoring sessions are offered in two lengths:
Yes! Math Journeys is an approved Step Up for Students provider. Families can reserve funds through EMA and then schedule sessions directly through this website.
The recommended frequency varies by student. Some students benefit from weekly sessions, while others may prefer short-term or exam-focused support.
Practice may be suggested when helpful, but tutoring sessions primarily focus on understanding concepts, working through problems together, and building confidence. Any recommended practice is tailored to the student and aligned with their coursework.
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations. If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled session, you will be charged for the session.
Progress can be seen in several ways, including improved confidence, stronger problem-solving skills, increased participation in class, and better performance on assignments and assessments.
Math Journeys may not be the best fit for students seeking guaranteed grade outcomes. Sessions are designed to support understanding and skill development through active student participation.
